Give this delicious Hasselback Potatoes a try. It is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside make it absolutely delicious. This is an easy and fun recipe that will impress your guests.
Clean well nicely shaped medium sized potatoes.
Cut across the potato around 3-5mm apart, making sure you don’t cut all the way through.
To make sure you don’t cut all the way through place two wooden spoons or two chopsticks on the either side of the potato they will act as a guide.
Cut all the potatoes the same way
Pre heat cooking oil in a cooking pot. Use a small pot so that you can put more cooking oil to make sure the potatoes are fully submerged in the oil.
Deep fry the potatoes on medium heat. Turn sides after about 5 minutes and continue deep frying. It takes 10 to 15 minutes for the potato to be ready when deep frying on medium heat.
Remove from the oil and season with pepper and salt to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve. You can serve with stew and stir fry or salad.
