Who doesn’t love KFC chicken? Well here is a full recipe which you can try at home and save yourself a few bucks. The chicken pieces dipped in flour, eggs and spices to give it a delightfully crispy exterior.

Make sure all the ingredients are ready before starting

Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, ginger powder, grinded black pepper, salt into a large bowl and mix

Coat the chicken all over with the seasoning mixture

Let the chicken marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

In a separate bowl mix all dry coating ingredients that is, flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, garlic powder.

In another bowl add the eggs and mix properly

Dredge the chicken through the flour-spice mixture, then into the egg bowl, then again into the flour mixture. So the chicken will be coated with the flour mixture then egg then flour mixture again. Repeat this step for each piece of chicken one piece at a time. If you donโt eat eggs you can coat with only the flour mixture.
Fill a pot with at least 10cm of cooking oil. The oil needs to be deep enough so that you can submerge the chicken pieces.
Heat the oil over medium-high heat this may take a about 5 minutes. Deep fry the chicken in batches over medium heat. Each batch will take between 10 to 15 minutes. Turn the chicken pieces after 5 minutes.
Use a pair of cooking tongs to transfer the chicken to a cooling rack or plate.

Once the chicken has cooled off to room-temperature, it's ready to serve!
