Let the chicken marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
In a separate bowl mix all dry coating ingredients that is, flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, garlic powder.
In another bowl add the eggs and mix properly
Dredge the chicken through the flour-spice mixture, then into the egg bowl, then again into the flour mixture. So the chicken will be coated with the flour mixture then egg then flour mixture again. Repeat this step for each piece of chicken one piece at a time. If you don’t eat eggs you can coat with only the flour mixture.
Fill a pot with at least 10cm of cooking oil. The oil needs to be deep enough so that you can submerge the chicken pieces.
Heat the oil over medium-high heat this may take a about 5 minutes. Deep fry the chicken in batches over medium heat. Each batch will take between 10 to 15 minutes. Turn the chicken pieces after 5 minutes.
Use a pair of cooking tongs to transfer the chicken to a cooling rack or plate.
Once the chicken has cooled off to room-temperature, it's ready to serve!
