This super easy homemade double steak burger recipe gives you delicious beef patties, packed with onions, cheese, lettuce, olives, egg, tomato, and sandwiching between sesame seed rolls.

Make sure all ingredients are ready before starting.
Cut the tomato and the red onion into thin round slices.
Chop the white onions and fry them making sure not to burn.
Fry the egg keeping it sunny side up.
Divide your beef mince into two equal potions of about 200g each.
Shape the beef into round shaped patties and season the patties generously with salt and pepper.
Fry or grill the beef patties turning the sides, they will take about 10 minutes to be ready.
Place the cheese slices over the beef patties until the cheese starts melting.
Spread butter on the inside of the rolls and toast them in a pan. Toasting the rolls adds great flavor and prevents soggy rolls.
For the burger sauce add 3 table spoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup and 1 teaspoon of mustard and mix well.
Now that all is ready it’s time to assemble the burger.
Spread the sauce over the bottom roll, Add the lettuce, Add the chopped olives, Place of the beef patties with cheese, Add the fried onions, Place the fried egg, Add tomatoes and onions, Place the other beef patty, Spread the sauce over the top roll and place it on top.
The double steak cheese burger is ready to serve. Tip: Best way to eat it is to break it into 2 and eat using fork and knife.
